Session # 1: How to Write a Press Release That Gets Media Attention
Despite the many changes in the media and publishing landscapes, the press release remains an essential component of book marketing. If you’re self-promoting or even working with a publicist, learn from Smith Publicity CEO Dan Smith – who has written and/or reviewed thousands of book press releases. Dan will walk you through all of the most important elements of a book press release, and teach you how to write one like a professional, and use it to attract maximum media interest in you and your book.

You can model your own release and craft a pitch after these examples to take your book marketing efforts to new levels of success with media.
