Book awards are a great way to gain exposure and an excellent tool to add to your book marketing campaign. Over the next few weeks there are several book award deadlines for specific genres.

Thousands of business books are published each year, each with the potential to promote change and enlighten the way people think about business.
In January, 2014, 800-CEO-READ will announce the winners of their business book competition. These awards will recognize the best business books of 2013 and the authors who committed time and energy to the books’ creation.
All entries must be postmarked by October 15, 2013.
Semifinalists will be announced December, 2013.
Winners will be announced January, 2014.
North American Travel Journalists Association Awards
The North American Travel Journalists Association (NATJA) supports professional travel journalism and honors the excellence of travel promotion throughout the world with its annual awards competition, now in its 22nd year. The NATJA Awards Competition honors the “best of the best” from travel media (writers, photographers, video journalists, bloggers) and travel promotion submitted by travel journalists, travel magazines, public relations agencies and destination marketing organizations (DMOs/CVBs) from the United States, Canada, Mexico and other countries. The Bancroft Prizes are awarded annually by Columbia University in the City of New York. Under the terms of the will of the late Fredric Bancroft, provision is made for two annual prizes of equal rank to be awarded to the authors of distinguished works in either or both of the following categories: American History (including biography) and Diplomacy.
