Kelly has more than 15 years of experience as a journalist, magazine editor, and public relations specialist and has worked extensively as an independent writer, editor, and editorial consultant. She has ghost-written novels, screenplay adaptations, abridged manuscripts and content marketing collaterals. Blackbird Fly received starred reviews from Publisher’s Weekly, School Library Journal, and Kirkus. Her second novel, The Land of Forgotten Girls, will be released in March 2016. Kelly has also published more than 30 short stories in print and online publications worldwide and is a two-time Pushcart Prize nominee.
“Every publishing journey has its own unique challenges and triumphs. I look forward to working for a company so committed to supporting authors of all kinds.”
“We’re very excited to add such a well-known author and professional with diverse talents and experiences to our team,” says Smith Publicity CEO Dan Smith. “We’re confident Erin will help us reach even higher levels of performance and broaden our service offerings for both traditionally and self-published authors.”
