The American Library Association is the largest and organization representing and lobbying for the national library industry.
Each year the ALA hosts a midwinter meeting for librarians and members of the publishing community to come together. This year, the ALA Midwinter Meeting and Exhibits is being held in Philadelphia, January 24- 28.
Throughout the five-day conference seminars, meetings and exhibits are held to bridge the gap between librarians, authors, publishers and distributers. It’s an excellent opportunity for authors to learn about this important segment of the book industry and establish potentially valuable connections and exposure for their books.
ALA Midwinter is expecting about seven thousand attendees that including library staff of all levels from across the country and the spectrum of librarians (public, private, school, research, etc.).
Members of the Smith team will be in attendance on Monday January 27. If you would like to meet with one of our team at the conference, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
