Amazon’s New Audiobook Strategy

Amazon isn't done shaking up the publishing industry! Back in 2008, the Internet mega-giant acquired Audible, and now it's changing the timing of releases of audiobooks. Why is this important? Audiobooks are the fastest growing segment of the publishing industry, and Audible accounts for over 40% of all audiobook sales.

The changes are affecting some book marketing strategies, and are further testament to the ever-changing nature of publishing! Even if you don't listen to audiobooks or publish your book in audio format, it's important to stay on top, and ahead of the curve, when it comes to changes.
